Hi, my name is Josh, I was raised in different parts of OC but mostly in a city called Cypress. I can’t remember most of my early childhood exactly but I'm sure it was full of video games and watching tv shows. What I do remember is that I grew up as child who was in love with sports but mostly basketball. Throughout MS and HS most of my focus and energy went toward playing basketball. 

 

Once I started college I decided to move away from basketball and pursue art. I worked as hard as I could trying to improve my doodling skills in an attempt to figure out if  “art” could turn into a legitimate job. After 1 year of junior college I applied to get into a few art colleges and got into all of them except Gnomon. I could have gone to a traditional art college, but I decided to take a few individual classes at Gnomon and try my hardest to get into the next term. I ended up getting in and my journey began. At the beginning I knew I wanted to pursue 3D animation but I had never done it before. So I spent most of my time at Gnomon learning as many 3D skills as I could until I finally had my first 3D animation class. After that first class I fell in love with animation and have been trying to hone my skills ever since.

 

So yea that’s my story, for now at least.
